Frequently asked questions
Yes, I am currently accepting Aetna, Cigna, and Carelon Behavioral Health, with additional plans being added throughout January.
For all other insurance plans, I am considered an out-of-network provider. This means payment is collected at the time of service, and I will provide you with a detailed receipt (Superbill) to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.
To make this easier, I recommend using Reimbursify, a service that handles out-of-network claims for you. Please note that reimbursement is determined by your specific insurance plan and is not guaranteed.
I currently treat adults ages 18 and older.
Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice are subject to a cancellation fee. This policy helps ensure appointment availability for all clients.

Yes. Therapy is integrated into all follow-up appointments. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and psychodynamic approaches to support insight, emotional resilience, and meaningful behavioral change.
Yes. Lab orders are tailored to your symptoms and may include metabolic, nutrient, hormonal, thyroid, and inflammation markers. Specialty labs may involve additional costs depending on the testing company.
Your intake includes a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, discussion of your symptoms and history, integrative review of metabolic and lifestyle factors, and development of a personalized treatment plan. Lab and specialty testing recommendations are provided when appropriate.
Follow-ups are offered in 30- or 45-minute formats. Each session includes medication management, progress review, integrative adjustments, symptom tracking, and therapeutic support tailored to your needs.
Controlled-substance prescribing is considered on a case-by-case basis and must meet clinical appropriateness, safety guidelines, and NYS prescribing requirements. I do not prescribe benzodiazepines for long-term use.
While no provider can guarantee specific outcomes, you will receive evidence-based, integrative, and personalized treatment designed to support clarity, stability, and long-term healing.
New patients begin with an intake appointment. You can schedule by clicking the BOOK APPOINTMENT tab in the main menu to access the online calendar, or by using the appointment AI assistant available throughout the site.
